Surrounded by rustic cobbled alleyways lies the towering Pantheon. Emperor Hadrian constructed this world record breaking dome nearly 2000 years ago and it still puzzles archaeologists to this date. Hear the mystery that shrouds the most intact Ancient Roman building in Rome.
Next up is one of Rome’s most iconic and romantic spots… the magnificent Trevi Fountain. Seeing the Fountain in the night time is a magical experience that will stay with you forever! After explaining the history of the Trevi and the legend of the coin toss we will take short break for photos or a refreshment.
Venturing on we will pass by the biggest building in Rome, as you walk through Piazza Venzia, built to commemorate the the founder of Italy: Vittorio Emanuele II. Here we will explore the history of Italy’s unification towards the end of the 19th century.
To make our way to the Colosseum you and your Expert guide will pass through the Ancient City of Rome on the road of the Imperial Forums. The illuminated statues of emperors, columns, temples, triumphal arches and the winding roads of Ancient Rome is truly a sight to behold.
